Download Inside Of It - Various - I Hate My Fucking Job

My family did not understand there were other career paths out there. I was 28 finally realizing that I had to be selfish and live my life the way I wanted. I had a friend who was in the fashion industry that helped me get my "foot in the door" at Oakley.

He saw how passionate I was when he would take me to events. I would ask so many questions about how he ended up here. Little did I know that he and I weren't much different: This guy did not graduate college, he worked a bunch of odd jobs and interned at companies until he got his foot in the door. First, they hired me to make an app on probation salary and then kick me out when the probation is over.

I checked out of morbid curiosity several times. Second, the HRs are passive-aggressive bitches. What the fuck? I tried talking to them, they unloaded a load on crap about the higher ups not giving a fuck. What the fuckity fuck? When I was fucking broke and hungry. Which was far from the only lie I was told by them. Then comes my birthday. Oh, and where did that money-extortion tradition go when it was about my birthday?

A few helpful pointers may be all you need to get your job search started and to keep it on track. Do keep in mind that it might take a while to find a new position, so be prepared for the long haul. When you think you've finally found that new plum position and you've been asked to interviewyou'll probably want to shout it from the rooftops.

Companies check references. They ask about previous employers in interviews, and what you say matters. Recruiters and prospective employers look for people who are going to build up their businesses and reputations, not tear them down.

Talking trash about a former employer during a job interview says more about you than the company. What's more, you never know who your interviewer might know.

Resign gracefully, giving two weeks notice. Offer to provide assistance during the transition and leave the company behind with no hard feelings. Aside from costing you opportunities, a scorched-Earth approach to separation isn't worth your time. You're better served by focusing your energy and perspective to your new job and improving your experience this time around. Job Searching Career Advice. Nah I love my job.
